SMS Destinations
Our Bioscore Destination Sustainability Management System establishes a framework for collaboration between private agents and local administrations, to make tourism in the area more sustainable, benefiting both the environment and all the actors involved, promoting a joint effort to improve the sustainability of the destination and its actors. By incorporating environmental, social and good governance criteria throughout the entire value chain, we ensure tourism development that respects and enhances the local environment.
Furthermore, our methodology is based on the ten key transformations for the tourism sector, identified by the UN Global Pact’s Tourism Working Group in Spain, which outline the roadmap towards sustainable tourism. With the aim of aligning our actions with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, we respond to the UN Secretary General’s call to mobilise all sectors towards sustainable action. This includes global action that promotes leadership and resources, as well as local action that embeds the necessary transitions in policies and regulatory frameworks.
Commitment
Bioscore promotes sustainable destinations and offers travellers the opportunity to select a destination using sustainability criteria. Bioscore equips destinations with the tools they need to efficiently and easily manage the sustainability of their destination. By integrating the Bioscore Destination SMS, we encourage local and grassroots action, ensuring that every stakeholder has a role in this transformation towards more conscious tourism. The Bioscore Destination SMS is designed for municipalities and local administrations, but can be adapted to other entities that match the concept of a tourist destination.
Methodology
Our methodology is based on the monitoring of sustainable performance indicators, requires a minimum of documentation, uses our proprietary digital platform for data collection and processing, and provides information that adds value for decision making within the tourism destination. The process of certifying a sustainable destination begins with determining the scope of the project. A strategy covering key areas is drawn up and specific actions to be implemented are defined. The previously identified actions are implemented and indicators are established to measure the progress and results of these actions.

Cómo renovar su certificación

Es importante que verifique la información que ya tenemos sobre su propiedad para que tengamos la información de contacto correcta.
También es importante que su perfil de alojamiento sea correcto con cosas como el ID Booking, número de habitaciones, piscinas, etc., porque su auditor usará esta información para presentar el informe de renovación
Deberá tener una suscripción vigente antes de la auditoría. Puede verificar la fecha de vencimiento en el perfil Bioscore de su propiedad.
Bioscore le enviará automáticamente una factura de renovación aproximadamente 4 semanas antes de la fecha de vencimiento y puede enviarnos un correo electrónico si tiene alguna pregunta.
Le recomendamos que realice su auditoría al menos 30 días antes de la fecha de vencimiento de su certificación para que su certificación no caduque.
Normalmente le recordaremos aproximadamente 3 meses antes de que expire su certificación y puede solicitar una auditoría en cualquier momento utilizando el Formulario de Certificación de auditoría en línea.
Renovar la certificación Bioscore es un proceso sencillo. Se encontrara el Formulario de Certificación con los datos e información que contesto el año anterior.
Lo que tiene que hacer es actualizar solo los datos que hayan cambiado y aportar las evidencias necesarias.. Puede hacerlo con en línea con ayuda de uno de nuestros consultores.

Cómo renovar su certificación
Parte Bioscore
Una vez ha finalizado el Formulario de Certificación, nuestro equipo de auditoría interna comienza su trabajo de evaluación y revisión de evidencias.
Este proceso puede tardar 72 horas, en función del número de hoteles de su organización.
Una vez terminado el proceso de auditoría interna, enviamos su expediente a la certificadora de tercera parte para su correspondiente auditoría. se proceso puede demorarse en función del número de hoteles entre 3 y 8 días más.
Recibirá un correo electrónico de nuestra parte confirmando que está certificado por Bioscore. El correo electrónico contendrá información sobre su logotipo y certificado y también puede encontrar su Informe Final de Auditoría.
Bioscore se asegurará de se le incluya en nuestros informes a operadores turísticos y OTAs dentro de los 21 días posteriores a la fecha de su certificación.
También podrá acceder a nuestro kit de herramientas de marketing.
Su certificación caducará 12 después de la fecha de su certificado, momento en el que deberá repetir estos pasos para volver a certificarse.

Bioscore is proud to lead the Lloret Sostenible by Bioscore project together with Lloret de Mar Town Council, through Lloret Turisme. This initiative establishes a framework for strategic collaboration between the different private agents and the local administration involved in the development of tourism in Lloret de Mar. Our aim is to work together to promote the sustainability of the destination and of all the agents involved.
Certification of the Bioscore Destination Sustainability Management System
Lloret de Mar was the first destination to obtain Bioscore Sustainability certification, a milestone in sustainable management that provides a comprehensive system based on the monitoring and analysis of key indicators. Thanks to our specialised management software, this data is periodically registered and evaluated to ensure continuous improvement.
To achieve this certification, the participating agents must comply with the minimum criteria for sustainable management, such as:
- Register of energy and water consumption
- Calculate the carbon and water footprint
- Effective waste management
- Implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies
- Apply best practices in sustainability
With this system, Bioscore contributes to transforming Lloret de Mar into a benchmark for sustainability, benefiting both the destination and the agents that are part of it.
